Los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) solicitan un edificio único para las cinco carreras que se dictan en esta unidad académica. Además, denuncian las malas condiciones de dos sedes.
El edificio único que reclaman los estudiantes se inauguró el año pasado, pero las obras no están terminadas y todavía no puede albergar a todas las carreras. Las autoridades universitarias habían prometido el edificio único para el año 2004.
"Hace tres semanas se cayó una viga en el pie de una compañera, pero no es la primera señal que nos dan los edificios. Se han caído ventiladores, escalones, hubo principios de incendios y cortocircuitos. El accidente de la viga no fue un hecho aislado", comentó la estudiante de esta Facultad, Cecilia Lorusso, al programa El Peso del Rocío en Fm La Tribu de Buenos Aires.
Cecilia Lorusso agregó que "en los baños no hay agua, ni puertas, y las aulas son insuficientes y gran parte de los alumnos se deben sentar en el piso".
La joven también denunció que notaron la presencia de un policía de civil durante uno de los debates estudiantiles que se desarrolló la semana pasada en la sede nueva de Ciencias Sociales.
En referencia a este tema, Lauroso declaró que "el policía de civil que encontramos firma todos los días el acta de asistencia en la nueva sede, pero la autonomía universitaria establece que las fuerzas de seguridad no pueden entrar a la Universidad".
Los docentes de la UBA se sumaron al reclamo de los estudiantes y piden también por un aumento de sueldo y de presupuesto para la Universidad. Los profesores nucleados en la Conadu Histórica realizaron una huelga el lunes y el martes.
Los salarios de los docentes de la UBA son pagados por el Ministerio de Educación de la Nación y figuran como uno de los más bajos de todo el país, según datos de la Asociación Gremial Docente.
